Our Staff
Our trained instructors are constantly assessing swimmers to gauge their readiness to move up to the next skill as they improve their each one. Your swimmer’s growth happens as we encourage, inspire, and challenge them at all levels to be the best version of themselves. Our goal is to teach a love for swimming, develop dedicated athletes, and create Olympic sized dreams. Each instructor is selected not only for their love of the water and knowledge of swimming, but their ability to help each swimmer be their personal best.
Maria Sunyak
Maria is our Client Services Coordinator for Naples Swim School and Team Manager on the T2 Aquatics side. She is knowledgeable of all things Swimming, Naples Swim School, T2 Aquatics, and Norris Aquatic Center! Please don't hesitate to ask Maria about the road to competitive swimming for your Naples Swim Schooler, she has raised three lifelong/collegiate swimmers herself and has lots of wisdom to share. Fun Fact about Maria ... four out of her four children have all worked or work for T2 and Naples Swim School at some point!

Karie Yetter
Coach Karie, an Olympic Trial qualifier turned stay at home mom, has four children and all four of them are current members of T2 Aquatics competitive club team. Karie trains all of our instructors and keeps the curriculum fresh and fun. Fun Fact about Coach Karie... she is married to T2 Head Coach Tom :)

Mackynze Noe
Coach Mackynze is a former student of Naples Swim School and former member of T2 Aquatics competitive club team! Mackynze will be attending FGCU this fall! A Fun Fact about Coach Mackynze... she is a country music enthusiast!

Coach Cruz, a former T2 swimmer, is a Naples Swim School instructor and a T2 certified lifeguard here at Norris Aquatic Center. Something you wouldn’t guess about Cruz… he actually hates hot weather!

JJ Weatherbie
Coach JJ is a member of T2 Aquatics competitive club team! Coach JJ works as an instructor for Naples Swim School and is also a T2 certified Lifeguard. He loves to work with people, he finds joy in helping kids learn new skills in the pool. A Fun Fact about JJ...he enjoys to take nature photos!

Sophie Mokhiber
Coach Sophie, is a current member of T2 Aquatics Competitive club team and the oldest of four in her family. Fun Fact about Coach Sophie ... she toured Italy singing with her school choir when she was 11 years old!

Anton Sunyak
Coach Anton, a former member of T2 Aquatics, has been on deck at Norris Pool most of his life as little brother of T2 swimmers before joining the team himself at age 6. Anton also serves T2 and Naples Swim School as a Lifeguard and Lifeguard Instructor. Fun Fact about Coach Anton ... he is a State of Florida Fire Fighter / EMT.

Rylie Noe
Coach Rylie is a former competitive swimmer, having swam with T2 from the early days. Rylie is currently teaching in the Pre-K2 room at a local preschool. Fun Fact about Coach Rylie ... she has been to Disney World over 30 times!

Naya Pearo
Coach Naya is a member of T2 Aquatics competitive club team! Naya attends Barron Collier High School and swims for them, as well. Fun fact about Naya is she has visited over 13 different countries!

Allyson Leskovic
Coach Allyson’s love of sunshine, swimming, and her family led her to relocate to Naples! When she is not teaching at Naples Swim School or keeping us safe while Lifeguarding, you can find Allyson wandering an art gallery, gardening, or snuggling with her beloved cats! Coach Allyson has a degree in Criminology and English Studies and has published some creative writing! Fun fact about her is she follows Beyoncé on tour!

Gabriella Semaan
Coach Gabby is a member of T2 Aquatics competitive club team! She attends Barron Collier High School and swims for them during high school swim season. A very fun fact about Gabby is that she can play the ukelele

Gabriel Miller
Coach Gabriel attends Community School of Naples. He is a former Naples Swim School swimmer and he currently is a member of T2 Aquatics competitive swim team. He is also a T2 certified Lifeguard here at Norris Aquatics Center and works LG shifts as well as his instructor shifts. Gabriel also competes for his school swim team in the fall.

Carter Dumont
Coach Carter is a sophomore at Gulf Coast High School (he serves as a captain of their swim team) and he is also a T2 swimmer for the past three years. Coach Carter is also a certified life guard in addition to working as a swimming instructor. He plans to study Business when he goes to college and aspires to represent his college in the pool! A Fun Fact about Carter is that he is originally from Michigan.

Julie Jordan
Coach Julie is a former member of T2 Aquatics competitive club team! Julie is a Naples Swim School swim instructor and a certified lifeguard. You can see her on deck throughout the week in both roles! She really likes to stay busy! Coach Julie likes to learn from new experiences and support the people around her. A Fun Fact about Julie...she loves to try new foods!

Sloane Horner

Jonah is a member of T2 Norris Aquatics Center Lifeguard staff. He is 18 years old and is going to attend Syracuse University this fall to study Broadcast Journalism. Fun fact about Jonah is that he has a sports podcast called Little Man, Big Mouth!
