WEATHER POLICY
Monthly, Recurring Classes: Storms are common and quite unpredictable in Southwest Florida. We will always make safety our top priority. The following weather policy is in effect year-round for monthly, recurring classes:
ALWAYS ASSUME THAT THE CLASS WILL TAKE PLACE AS SCHEDULED, RAIN OR SHINE. NO NEED TO PHONE OR EMAIL, WE WILL DO OUR VERY BEST TO GET OUR CLASSES IN SAFELY. IF YOU CHOOSE NOT TO ATTEND AND THE CLASS HAPPENS, YOU WILL NOT BE GRANTED A MAKE UP.
We make final decisions about the cancellation of each swim lesson a minimum of 15 minutes after the class start time. For example, a 2:00 pm class will be cancelled until 2:15 pm in the event of thunder and lightning.
In the event of a cancellation due to weather, families in attendance will be told about the make up option.
Make sure your text and email alerts are turned on in your Captyn account, because catastrophic weather may warrant a cancellation beforehand, if we are expecting a hurricane or tropical storm.
Each participant marked in attendance in a canceled class may email maria@t2aquatics.com to schedule a drop in 'make up' class within two weeks of the cancellation. No make ups will be granted if swimmer is not in attendance. Additionally, there will be no make ups granted for illness, with or without a doctor’s note. THERE ARE NO REFUNDS FOR CANCELLED CLASSES.
Private Lessons will be rescheduled with your assigned instructor at time of cancellation due to weather.
