SUMMER PROGRAMS
Over the Summer months we offer a fun and instructional Tiger Shark Swim Team as well as our Tiger Shark Day Camp. We also offer additional group classes and private lessons in the morning and evenings.

Norris Tiger Sharks Swim Team
Age: 5- 14 Years
Date: June/July 2025
Duration: 1 hour practice, 4 days a week Monday through Thursday.
Program Summary:
Norris Tiger Sharks summer swim team will be instructed in all four of the competitive strokes, racing starts, and turns in a fun “Summer Team” atmosphere.
Swimmers will showcase their skills at our “Summer Showcases” against other teams in the Paradise Coast Swim Conference teams in Collier County.
The minimum requirement for joining the team is that the swimmer must be able to swim 25 yards unassisted.

Norris Tiger Sharks Summer Camp
Age: 6- 14 Years
Date: June/July 2025
Duration: 4-hour camp, 4 days a week Monday through Thursday
Program Summary:
Norris Tiger Sharks summer camp will be instructed in all four of the competitive strokes, racing starts, and turns in a fun “Summer Team and Camp” atmosphere.
Swimmers will showcase their skills at our “Summer Showcases” against other teams in the Paradise Coast Swim Conference teams in Collier County.
Campers will have opportunities for extra fun and play both in and out of the pool in additional to swim instruction. Water balloons, water mats, water trampolines, and all kinds of “summer camp” type of games and activities.
The requirement for joining the camp is that the swimmer must be able to swim 25 yards unassisted in a strong fashion.

Summer Guppies/Sharks
Ages 3-5
Age: 3-5 Years
Date: June/July 2025
Duration: 30 minutes per class
Program Summary:
For the Summer months swimmers will be sorted by age and ability. During their class there will be
multiple instructors to accommodate all athletes and help them reach the next step in their swimming!
In this class, the instructors will be in the pool assisting athletes with swimming skills for both the
Guppies and Sharks. We will have a platform in the pool for the Guppies group to make the depth
appropriate for them. Our main goals for Guppies are to increase water safety, and work towards
swimming 12 yards unassisted. Our main goals for Sharks are to increase water safety and work
towards swimming 25 yards unassisted.
Athletes are moved to the appropriate level based on evaluations by the NSS staff.

Summer Foundations thru Butterfly Ages 6-8 and Ages 9-12
Age: 6-8 Years and 9-12 Years
Date: June/July 2025
Duration: 40 minutes per class
Program Summary:
There will be a class for athletes ages 6-8 years old as well as a class for athletes ages 9-12 years old.
They must be able to swim 25 yards unassisted.
For the Summer months there will be multiple instructors to accommodate all athletes during each class
block and help them reach the next step in their swimming!
In this class the instructors will be on the pool deck teaching swimming skills for all the strokes. The
swimmers will be grouped by their ability and will go over appropriate skills for each athlete. Classes
will involve a range of swimming skills including Foundations, Freestyle, Backstroke, Breaststroke, and
Butterfly. Once athletes become proficient in a stroke or skill, we will be able to move them onto other
new challenges (while still reviewing our foundational skills and strokes).
Athletes moved to the appropriate level based on evaluations by the NSS staff.
